Wisdom and Chesterton’s Fence

explain the idea of Chesterton’s fence.

Since reality is “infinitely” complex, one can never fully understand a situation. Does Chesterton’s fence leave us paralyzed?

In that case, it seems to be a pointer to being wise. What principles can one use that lead to wisdom.

What is the importance of a metaphysics in the pursuit of wisdom?
